We made it to the summit of Mt. Bunga Buah. We were there when the wind blew on faces along with the sun. It's a good training ground for hikers planning to tackle higher and tougher mountain.
Maybe, this mountain has not seen hikers for a couple of week, just maybe. The forest has started creeping into the trek in some areas. It would be a good idea to wear long sleeve shirt and anything that covers your leg (unless you don't mind small-small scratches).
At the peak, the were some The leeches are not a menace but they still irritates, and surprisingly there are some green stripe leeches. The stubborn and painful biting one.
We would rate Mt. Bunga Buah as :
Location: Bentong, Pahang Diff : 2/10 - Relatively easy View (Peak) : 2/10 - Nothing much Clean : 6/10 - Still clean Nature : 5/10 - Still in good shape Water : 3/10 - Water point 1.5 hour from summit
